Touchdown in Canada!

Friday, July 1, 2011

Day 1 of the North American tour saw three wardrobe changes.  Kate kicked the tour off at Heathrow in a very professional businesslike dress and jacket, in her favorite navy blue.  We haven't seen Kate in more pointed heels in a while.

Kate didn't let her fans down, or the importance of the occasion.  When she stepped out of the plane she was completely transformed, hair swept up and dressed up, a slim lace dress, and her favorite nude heels.

For the evening barbecue, she recycled and wore...ISSA!  I was just thrilled to see Kate wearing the designer.  We haven't seen any Issa since before the wedding, which, coincidentally was the last time we saw this dress.  I was excited to see it without the sweater, as well.  The perfect closing dress to a great opening day.

My big question for the day is, "Moving Forward Together" motto for the tour?  What does that even mean?  I see what it is supposed to mean, but it sounds like something you say to a significant other after you catch them cheating, but you are going to stay together anyway.  They should have gone back to the drawing board on that one.  Anyway...

Today is day 2, and Happy Canada Day to all our northern neighbors.  Hopefully the celebrations will be as fantastic as the clothes.
