Kate Spotted Driving Her Range Rover With Prince George

Sunday, April 12, 2015

Hello all! I am playing hookie from Kate's Clothes, where I should be working to fix spelling errors and grammar. Gosh, do you know about that around here! ;) Hey, sometimes, it truly is autocorrect!  During the April tour last year, my Mac kept changing absailing to assailing. I double-checked a million times, and still my sneaky computer posted that post with "assailing" for the world to see. Humility...it is bitter medicine, as my Pilates teacher would say. On to Kate the Great! A new candid has emerged and I loved it so much I had to dash over and share.

Ashley at Kate & Pippa Style found this on Instagram. It was just posted today, although the man, who says he snapped it from his office window, took it last week! That prompts the obvious question, what took him so long to post? Boys. But, better late than never.  This is such an awesome shot, particularly as you can see Prince George looking out the window behind Kate!

I love all photos of Kate where she is doing something normal, so this was such a fun shot! We don't often get snaps of Kate driving herself, but it is so charming to see her, like any mum, at the wheel with George-Cutie-Pants in the back seat. This made my day--I hope it makes yours, too!

Ok, this was a short post, but I should be back tomorrow with something a little more in line with our normal fare. The new site has definitely thrown my schedule a little, but balance will be found. Thanks for your patience here and over there!

  1. I think the number plate should be obscured for security purposes.

    1. I think had I taken the photo I would have if I had thought about it. In this case, you don't need to be too concerned. While most celebrities need that privacy, I think it would be pro forma for Kate. You can't do much with a license plate unless you have access to the database. Even if you do have access to the database, the concern is privacy and security, particularly regarding your home's location. With Kate, we know where she lives and she has hardcore, 24 hour security.

    2. Is it also possible their vehicles are registered under The Firm or their offices? I'm thinking they aren't registered to the Cambridges.

No need to apologise! You're doing a great job - here and there ;-)

  4. Some time ago you posted another candid where Kate and George were walking in the park and there was a lot of discussion whether it actually was them or not. Remember the one I mean? Someone suggested that the woman's coat was too bright, a sort of bright yellow, for it to be her. Is it the same coat here?

    1. This looks like a sweater to me, but I did think the other pic in the park was Kate.

  6. Fun picture! It's not stalking to me because she is out in public and she knows, as well as anyone, that everyone has a camera on their phone these days. As for the license plate - I'm sure every car is registered through Buckingham Palace and, as you said, the whole world knows where she lives. I'm also sure that the car is bullet proof, and every other kind of proof, with a full contingency of security in a car right behind her. She's not just a future queen, she is also driving a future ruling monarch! Now, onto the great Kate wait part deux.

    1. I too do not think of this as stalking. As you stated, everyone has a camera phone these days and it was a matter of being in the right place at the right time. I also agree with you on all the precautions, etc. Definitely! :)

    2. Agreed there ins also most likely a security person in the car with her and George

  7. I think I see woman with white collar next to Kate. Do you see that collar? I may have been Maria Borrallo or Emma Probert :)

  8. Thanks for the candid, interesting! I've just had a look at your new 'Kate's clothes' site, it's really good. By the way, there's an online article published in the 'Daily Mail' today that pictures Kate's pregnancy clothes, the date she wore them, the designer and cost: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3035063/Oh-baby-ASOS-polkadots-swish-designer-gowns-s-Kate-s-29-428-bumper-maternity-wardrobe.html

In addition, I've just discovered that a newspaper called new idea magazine published pictures of Kate and George (it has been so long since we got tk see him!!). They visited something called Snettisham Park (Snettisham park also sharefthe pictures on Facebook) what appears to be a petting zoo near Anmer Hall.

The photos are just too cute, they show Kate climbing the jungle gym with George, sliding on the slide with him and so on. He's grown so much!

I just wanted to tell you in case you hadn't seen them yet :)

  11. I guess the photographer tried to sell the pictures before giving them away for free.. hence the delay.
