A busy day in royal news. Sweet photos of Prince George seeing his parents off have surfaced in Woman's Day. The little prince accompanied by his nanny came to the gate to wave off William and Kate on September 1st as the couple flew by helicopter to Cornwall for two days of engagements.Doesn't this image of George hugging Daddy just melt your heart?
The photo ran with the usual question, Is Kate Pregnant?
Let me jump in and kill the suspense: no, she isn't. This was September 1st, and on the 2nd she was wearing those Gap crops on Scilly. Could that tummy have been any flatter or more toned?
Although George was under the careful care of his nanny, another member of the family clearly broke loose and tried to hop a ride on the heli. Kate scooped up her pooch and passed William to return Lupo to where he belonged:
Someone commented on Facebook how amazing it is to see Kate holding a dark dog against her $1,000 pale dress. That's love.
Then it was back to the helicopter and the two were whisked away to Cornwall.
Although Prince George had to watch from the sidelines that day, today Kensington Palace announced the itinerary for the Cambridges' tour of Canada at the end of this month, and finally confirmed that Prince George and Princess Charlotte will accompany their parents. The itinerary is long and complicated. The Canadian government has broken it down very well and you can browse the schedule here.
I think everyone knows, but Kate was pictured driving to Crathie Kirk on Sunday morning. The Duchess was wearing her Michael Kors blazer (pictured above in January of this year) with an alternate sweater/top. I suspect she was also wearing the skirt, and the hat was the same design as above, but I thought it looked burgundy in the photo. That could have been the lighting. It might have been almost an entire recycle. Below is a dark snap of Kate yesterday via Emily Andrews.
To the surprise of many, pictures of Carole Middleton also were published. Apparently, Mike and Carole were both there. I am delighted that the Middletons joined William and Kate in Scotland, at the invitation of the Queen. Carole and the Queen were pictured driving about in HM's Range Rover. (See the photos here.)
