New Engagement Scheduled for Kate

Thursday, October 26, 2017

As Kate eases back into public engagements, Kensington Palace has announced her first solo appearance since the pregnancy announcement. Kate will visit the Lawn Tennis Association on October 31st. It isn't clear how hands on the event will be. In times past, Kate has really thrown herself into the fun, as she did in Scotland in 2016 when she joined a group of kids participating in one of Judy Murray's clinics.

A month ago I would have said no chance we will see an active Duchess given her pregnancy, but after the Paddington dance at the station, anything is possible. :)  In any event, like HM with horses, Kate is always in her element with tennis. It's nice to see one of her first events back focus on the sport!

  1. And hot Harry will be Chicago onTuesday to help support the Obama Foundation. Seems like he really gets on well with them.

  2. So exciting! And glad that Kate is starting to feel better. Having just had "regular" pregnancy nausea with my pregnancies, it was no fun at all. I cannot imagine hyperemesis.

A quick question: We used to see pics of Rebecca Deacon/Priestly at prior engagements. Has HRH's new assistant come along to any of the recent engagements? Thanks for a great blog, it is always fun reading!

  3. Kate and Wills are very competitive with each other when it comes to tennis. And of course Catherine loves tennis. She fought to be the Royal Patron for Tennis.

    1. 😒 Something tells me she didn't have to "fight" to hard. Who was going to battle her for it, Cammie?🙄😂

    2. Should be "too hard"
